I was getting reoccurring yeast infections and BV for over a year. Every 2 months I’d have to visit my OB/GYN. I decided maybe it’s not me. Maybe it’s my doctor so I switched to Bay Area OB/GYN and was introduced to Dr. Dix. After my first visit and listening to my concerns and frustration (I think I even cried a little) he recommended switching birth controls because even though it’s not common, sometimes that could be the cause. Now I’ve been using the same birth control for going on eight years now so at first I was skeptical, but I gave it a shot because I was desperate. What do you know? It has been five months since my last ‘woman malfunction’ and I couldn’t be more relieved. Switching to Bay Area. OB/GYN was the best thing that has ever happened to me because I have gone from avoiding a sex life, living uncomfortably and unhappily with a low self-esteem to feeling better than ever. Thank you 1 million times over.

While you may wait a little longer to see Dr. Helen, it is worth it. She is sweet and genuine. I never feel like I’m being rushed and I feel like all of my concerns and questions are important to her. Her nurses are the best and are sweet and personable as well.
